Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RequestDock ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RequestDock is a browser-based API client that allows users to create, organize, and send HTTP requests, test APIs, generate code snippets, and manage API development workflows. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use RequestDock only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to:

  • Send requests to APIs you are not authorized to access
  • Perform denial-of-service attacks or stress testing against third-party services
  • Transmit malware, viruses, or malicious payloads
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Abuse the API proxy to circumvent security controls on third-party services

4. API Proxy

RequestDock provides an optional server-side proxy to help bypass CORS restrictions during development. The proxy is intended for development and testing purposes only. We reserve the right to rate limit or block proxy access for any user who abuses this feature. The proxy should not be used for production traffic.

5. Shared Links

When you create a shared link, the included request data is stored on our servers and accessible to anyone with the link URL. You are responsible for ensuring shared requests do not contain sensitive information such as API keys, passwords, authentication tokens, or personal data. We are not responsible for data exposed through shared links.

6. User Accounts

Account creation is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You may delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from the account settings page.

7. Intellectual Property

The RequestDock name, logo, and application code are the property of RequestDock. You retain ownership of all data you create, send, or store using the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

RequestDock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or security incidents. Use the Service at your own risk.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of RequestDock is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your data.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for users who violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
